Liking Tennessee and it's only a fieldgoal

*Jacksonville @ Philadelphia - Jedi Pick: Philadelphia -7
Jacksonville: 15-6 ATS off an Under
Philadelphia: 22-7 Under at home in October
JEDI THOUGHTS: Yea, i'm riding these Eagles again. They screwed me big time last week. But I seriously don't see them winning this week. Leftwhich out? Good luck Jacksonville, I don't think they'll be catching these flying birds.

+Atlanta @ Cincinnatti - Jedi Pick: Cincinnatti -4.5
Atlanta: 2-10 ATS off a win as a home underdog
Cincinnati: 8-2 Under vs. non-conference opponents
JEDI THOUGHTS: To tell you the truth, I was all over Atlanta this game, but after hearing Chad, i'm loving Cincy. The only thing that bothers me is that when Chad said they were going to the SuperBowl they didn't go. Now he's saying he's gunna score two touchdowns? Well touchdowns is easier to get than to go to the SuperBowl. Plus i'm thinking he's due up for a big game only because he didn't do much last week against Carolina.

TampaBay @ NY Giants - Jedi Pick: NY Giants -9
Tampa Bay: 0-6 ATS off BB wins
NY Giants: 10-5 ATS as a home favorite
JEDI THOUGHTS: Let me first start off at 0-6 ATS off BB wins? I'm sold Tampa is STRUGGLING and NY Giants are at the top of their game. -9 seems alot but I don't see TampaBay even competin with gmen. Last week Buc's win was a tough loss for Philly, meaning Bucs shouldn't of won that game. Well they're not getting away with another one today.

SanFrancisco @ Chicago - Jedi Pick: SanFrancisco +15
San Francisco: 2-9 ATS off a home game
Chicago: 14-4 Under off an ATS loss
JEDI THOUGHTS: What? That's ridiculous how is it that 49ers are getting more than two TD? because they're 2-9 ATS? I don't think so, man when I saw Chicago play last week game, they just had all the turnovers catch up with them. This game Chicago will win, no doubt, but spread to me is way tooo high.

Arizona @ GreenBay - Jedi Pick: Arizona +3.5
Arizona: 10-2 Over in October
Green Bay: 4-14 ATS in home games
JEDI THOUGHTS: All of a sudden GreenBay is a good team? That makes me laugh. Don't get me wrong they can be tough at home. But I seroiusly don't see the cheese heads getting win here. Leinart should feel alittle more confortable here, and getting that extra half point seems perfect even if GreenBay some how wins this game, they won't win by more than a fieldgoal.

Seattle @ KansasCity - Jedi Pick: Seattle +6
Seattle: 9-2 Over in road games
Kansas City: 9-2 ATS as a favorite
JEDI THOUGHTS: I know KansasCity can be tough at home, but that shouldn't be a reason to lay 6 points to a Seattle team that desprately needs a win. Yeah you can say Hassellbeck, but if Seattle loses this game they're going to fall behind to St.Louis in the NFC West. So watch Seattle atleast fight for this game. 6 Points is way to much for me.

+Baltimore @ NewOrleans - Jedi Pick: New Orleans -2
Baltimore: 17-4 ATS off a loss as a favorite
New Orleans: 5-1 Under off BB wins
JEDI THOUGHTS: Don't like this game much but I gotta stick to the Saints, everything just seems to be going right for them. If they can come up with a win here, they'll be in good shape. Plus with McNair out, this will be a great oppertuninty for the Saints.

St.Louis @ SanDiego - Jedi Pick: St.Louis +9
St. Louis: 8-1 Over vs. non-conference opponents
San Diego: 8-1 ATS vs. non-conference opponents
JEDI THOUGHTS: Man what's with these ridiculous spreads? I'm taking them Rams, they'll need to some how come up with a win here, to keep up with Seattle. Which I doubt they'll win, but be sure, this will be a fight.

Pittsburgh @ Oakland - Jedi Pick: Oakland +9.5
Pittsburgh: 8-1 ATS off a non-conference game
Oakland: 1-10 ATS as a home underdog
JEDI THOUGHTS: Finally them Raiders come up with a win. Taking the home team this game, Big Ben out, and Oakland coming off a big win. With some points. Doesn't get any better than that. I don't trust Batch very much

NY Jets @ Cleveland - Jedi Pick: Cleveland -1.5
NY Jets: 5-1 ATS off BB Overs
Cleveland: 9-2 Under in home games
JEDI THOUGHTS: Cleveland desprately needs a win here, it might be tough but i'm liking the browns at home.

*Indianapolis @ Denver - Jedi Pick: OVER 39
Indianapolis: 17-6 Over away off a home win by 10+ points
Denver: 14-4 ATS off a win
JEDI THOUGHTS: Don't like this game very much either. But over on this game seems like the best bet for me. 17-6 over away off a home win, and 14-4 ATS. So if Denver wants to win this game they're gunna have to put up some point here.

Dallas @ Carolia - Jedi Pick: Dallas + 5.5
Dallas: 14-5 Over in road games
Carolina: 13-5 ATS with a line of +3 to -3
JEDI THOUGHTS: Carolina gets a tough loss last week, and so does Dallas, but i'm going to stick do Dallas this week. Hope Romo does his job this week. The points sold me on this game.

Laying It All Down On MNF Oct. 23

Hey guys, as you all know it I had another bad week, and it's just getting worst and worst. So i'm going to LAY IT ALL DOWN tonight. If I don't hit this one, i'm not going to post here unless I get some good picks. I will also add this to (OTHERS GOYS/TOYS) This is not only my favorite pick, but also from the forum by: HIZZ_HONOR. So i'm considering this the top play.

The New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys bring identical 3-2 records into their Monday night match at Texas Stadium. Both are in hot pursuit of the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East. The Giants own a win over the Eagles already this year while the Cowboys lost in Philadelphia two weeks ago 38-24. They then bounced back last week to score a 34-6 home win over Houston. No strangers to Monday night, the Cowboys have been on the Show 18 times since 1997, winning 11 times and going 9-9 ATS. They are 4-3 straight-up at home but just 2-5 ATS. They also have split the last four at home versus the Giants, going just 1-3 ATS. The Giants are riding a two-game win streak, having beaten Washington at home 19-3 and Atlanta on the road 27-14. They have been on MNF 11 times since 1998 and are a dismal 2-9 straight-up and against-the-number.

NY Giants: 35-16 Under off a win by 10+ points
Dallas: 2-11 ATS off a win by 28+ points

JEDI PICK OF THE DAY: Dallas -3.5 Looks like i'm a Dallas fan for tonight, It's to hard to play against my Giants, but I gotta stick to the better team. As much as I like Dallas tonight, I'm loving the over/under play, my TOY play is Under 45. This game will go way under thinking that it will be decided on the ground. If Bledsoe doesn't have time to through the ball to his receivers, Parcells will also look to go to the ground. Tiki Barber will try to turn up the heat tonight, but do consider that Cowboys are the toughest running defenses in the NFL. If Tiki doesn't go anywhere, watch the clock wind down. Expect Manning and Barber to see alot of stars tonight, because the Tiki torch won't be lit.

JEDIMINDTRICKS RECORD
ALL NFL GAMES: 28-23
WEEKLY PICK 6: 11-5, Swept my Fab Four picks
PICK OF THE DAY/WEEK: 6-6 Got Smoked With Philly AGAIN
OTHER GOYS/TOYS: 2-1

NFL Week 7 Analysis

+SanDiego @ Kansas City - Jedi Pick: Kansas City +5
San Diego: 7-0 Under away vs. division opponents
Kansas City: 18-7 ATS off a road loss by 14+ points
JEDI THOUGHTS: Taking Kansas City this week, spreads to much. Plus it's pretty damn tough at Arrow head. Ask the niners. Well this ain't a niner team, but SanDiego does struggle against divisional teams, and Chiefs can't afford to lost another one. Points look good here.

Jacksonville @ Houston - Jedi Pick:Jacksonville -9.5
Jacksonville: 12-3 Under off BB games scoring 25+ points
Houston: 1-5 ATS off a road loss by 21+ points
JEDI THOUGHTS: Jacksonville usually comes tough after a bye week. Spread doesn't look that bad. Hoping Houston will fall after the defeat in Dallas.

New England @ Buffalo - Jedi Pick: New England -5
New England: 11-2 ATS after allowing 14 points or less
Buffalo: 5-0 Under off a loss as a favorite
JEDI THOUGHTS: Buffalo should come out fighting this week, after the tough loss in Detroit. But be carefull here, New England came off a bye, and needs to keep winning, they have a tough schedule ahead of them (Minnesota and Indianapolis)

Pittsburgh @ Atlanta - Jedi Pick: Atlanta +3
Pittsburgh: 7-0 ATS away off a win by 14+ points
Atlanta: 5-15 ATS off a home game
JEDI THOUGHTS: Steelers are 0-2 away, they are undefeated away off a win by 14+points. But I don't buy that. Steelers are DONE! that's the biggest game they're going to have all year. Big Ben isn't good enough to play two great games in a row. Atlanta comes off a hard loss AT HOME, against the NY Giants. Watch a bounce back this week.

+GreenBay @ Miami - Jedi Pick: GreenBay+5
Green Bay: 22-10 Over off BB losses
Miami: 1-8 ATS as a home favorite
JEDI THOUGHTS: Miami 1-8 as a home favorite? hah, Miami is even more of a bad team. This is Favre's best chance of winning his second game. Packers has a big edge, lost prior game, coming off a bye. And Miami playing at their lowest level of their game. Two weeks for Favre to prepare for his team, +5 points? I'LL TAKE IT.

*Philadelphia @ TampaBay - Jedi Pick: Philadelphia -5
Philadelphia: 4-0 ATS off BB Overs
Tampa Bay: 9-2 Under at home off a win
JEDI THOUGHTS: 4-0 Against The Spread, how about we just add a few more things why I think the EAGLES are going to TORTURE and DOMINATE this game. Philly comes off a tough loss against the Saints (now everyone is thinking the Saints are for real, I still don't think so) And what is this, Tampa Bay Buc's beat Cincinnatti? HOW? This game sure won't happen here. Rookie QB won't be able to do that twice against two strong teams.

Detriot @ NY Jets - Jedi Pick: Detroit +3.5
Detroit: 4-13 ATS away off a win as an underdog
NY Jets: 8-0 Over off a division game
JEDI THOUGHTS: This game is personally not my choice, but i'll give you my thoughts anyway. Jets are at home, but i'd like to see Detriot win two in a row after dropping 5 straight. That would be a something positive to look forward to. And I don't see why the Lions will not be able to do it. Think this game will be tough. But GO LIONS!

Carolina @ Cincinnatti - Jedi Pick: Cincinatti -3
Carolina: 12-3 ATS as an underdog
Cincinnati: 2-8 ATS in October
JEDI THOUGHTS: Here we go, this is one of my favorite picks this week. Still can't believe they lost against the Buc's, well Buc's gotta win sometime. Hey guess what Cincinnatti is at home now, coming off a sevre loss. Palmer will be ready to put up some major touchdowns this Sunday. He only puts up one touchdown against the Buc's? that's the the Carson Palmer I know. Carolina WON'T win two in a row on the road against teams over .500. Panther's are good (but not that good)

Denver @ Cleveland - Jedi Pick: Cleveland +4.5
Denver: 6-0 ATS off a divison win
Cleveland: 9-2 Under at home off a road game
JEDI THOUGHTS: Don't like this game much either, but look for Cleveland to be fresh off the prior loss and bye week. Denver didn't look strong that much against the Raiders, It's just that the Raiders made them look good. The overall score of that Raiders and Denver game was only 13-3. Don't you think that if the Raiders played really bad against a tough Denver D, that the score shouldn't of been that close. Ten points with the Raiders isn't that bad. Points here just might be enough.

Washington @ Indianapolis - Jedi Pick: Indianapolis -9
Washington: 14-4 Under off an ATS loss
Indianapolis: 1-4 ATS vs. Washington
JEDI THOUGHTS: Washington losing against Tennessee? Oh yeah, you have to win a game sometime (unless you're the Raiders) Be carefull here, Indianapolis can be VERY, VERY and I mean VERY TOUGH at home. Especially after a Bye week, failing to cover the last two games (Jets 31-28; Tennessee 14-13) If Indianapolis wins this game, they're covering this spread with their eyes closed. I don't by this trend, I think that's a sucker bet if you're taking Washington.

Minnesota @ Seattle - Jedi Pick: Minnesota +6.5
Minnesota: 12-4 ATS vs. conference opponents
Seattle: 3-11 ATS off a division game
JEDI THOUGHTS: "Minnesota is back and we're gunna get in trouble" That's right Minnesota will be huge this game. Seattle will fall to the ground this Sunday, yes, yes even at home. Comeback win at ST. Louis just made them tired. Seattle's secondary will be running all around the field with their heads cut off, trying to find their recievers. The Vikings are hungry and ready to cut off these birds' heads.

*Arizona @ Oakland - OVER 40; Total Of the Year
Arizona: 9-1 Over in October
Oakland: 0-6 ATS as a home underdog
JEDI THOUGHTS: There should be a prop for how many games the Raiders will lose. The absolutely devastating defeat at the hands of Clemson is more than just a single loss to drop them to 5-1; it is a crushing blow for this level of team. Now they not only have to try to regroup with a short road trip, but it is a trip to face an emerging N. C. State squad that has had a couple of extra days to prepare and using those days to review bitter memories of last years 27-19 loss at Greensboro, when they had two interceptions returned for touchdowns.

Wake Forest: 6-0 ATS in October
NC State: 16-6 Under as a home favorite

JEDIMINDTRICKS PICK OF THE DAY: NC State -3 This doesn't get any better than this. Led by the resurgent Steve McNair the Ravens are 4-0 for the first time in franchise history. They started fast, Tampa Bay and Oakland squads by a combined 55-6 in the first two weeks. They won close ones the last two weeks. McNair hit tight end Todd Heap for a TD with 34 seconds remaining last week as the Ravens defeated San Diego 16-13. Two weeks ago, McNair directed a 12-play, 47-yard drive that resulted in Matt Stover's 52-yard field goal with 20 seconds left to beat Cleveland 15-14. Denver is in off its bye week with a 2-1 record. It has played three low-scoring games, scoring just 36 points while allowing 31.

Baltimore: 12-2 Under away vs. conference opponents
Denver: 14-4 ATS off a bye week

JEDIMINDTRICKS PICK OF THE DAY: Denver - 5.5. Here we go, I personally think this game can go either way. If you like Baltimore take them straight up, but if Denver wins this game, they're taking the spread away from Baltimore a smashing them with it. I got one more team left on my parlay(waiting for Denver obviously) I favored them at 3.5 and still favor them at 5.5. Denver's to tough under the lights at home. For all that has been keeping up with me, you should already know that I had a great week, but now I need the dust pan to clean up the mess that I just swept. So let's get out the dust pan and make it a total CLEAN SWEEP!

NFL Pick Of the WEEK - JMT PICK

Washington @ NY Giants

JEDIMINDTRICKS PICK OF THE DAY: Giants -4.5

Washington: 25-9 ATS as a road underdog of 3.5 to 7 points
NY Giants: 15-4 Under off a bye week

JEDI THOUGHTS: These skins are in constant struggle, REMEMBER Giants came off bye week, and prior to that, they lost against Seattle. Jets for some reason kept up with the Colts, Which I find unbelieveable, well these Jags are a much better defensice team than those horses. Jacksonville will eat those Jets alive, and keep them under double digit scoring, while Jacksonville is hungry to score and win this game (after that disappointing lost)

+Tampa Bay @ New Orleans - Jedi Picks: Tampa Bay +6.5
Tampa Bay: 8-1 Under in road games
New Orleans: 17-34 ATS at home vs. division opponents
JEDI THOUGHTS: What is going on with Tampa Bay? 0-3? thank goodness they're getting alot of points here. New Orleans was dominating at home, but REMEMBER EVERYONE WAS WATCHING IT WAS HOME OPENER, AND IT WAS MONDAY NIGHT. Who's watching this game now? it's not nationally televised that's for sure. Tampa Bay did have a bye week, and had two weeks to prepare for this game. I'm taking Gruden and a few extra points, to help out. (well actually 2 field goals and half a point)

+Kansas City @ Arizona - Jedi Pick: Arizona + 3.5
Kansas City: 9-1 ATS as a favorite
Arizona: 2-10 ATS as an underdog
JEDI THOUGTHS: Does anyone remember the opening day in Arizona agains those Niners? Yeah they won, and yeah it was only the Niners (considering the niner got humiliated by the Chiefs 41-0) Did you know that the Chiefs came off a bye week prior to that Niner game? that means they had two weeks to prepare for the skunky 49ers? But this week, those chiefs don't have a home field advantage this week. Took a break from last week, after a couple of major blows (especially to my week/day picks) So had to take a break, but finally got it up and running, here's my analysis for the week.

Tennessee @ Indianapolis - Jedi Pick: Indianapolis -17.5
Tennessee: 7-20 ATS vs. conference opponents
Indianapolis: 13-3 Under off a road win by 3 points or less
JEDI THOUGHTS: Wow, that's a big favorite, and yes Tennessee is crap, Vince Young is CRAP. Indianapolis will put up some major numbers, after a tight game againts Jets. But be careful this point spread it really HIGH! and for Indianapolis to beat this spread is that if Tennessee will ONLY score one touchdown and a field goal at the most, after that, the spread is doomed. I don't think Colts will be able to put up 5 touchdowns. I don't see Tennessee even scoring a touchdown Prediction score 28-6

*Washington @ NY Giants - Jedi Pick: Giants -4.5
Washington: 25-9 ATS as a road underdog of 3.5 to 7 points
NY Giants: 15-4 Under off a bye week
JEDI THOUGHTS: These skins are in constant struggle, REMEBER Giants came off bye week, and prior to that, they lost against Seattle. They're pretty much prepared for this game. Also remember, Redskins just barely won against the Jag's in overtime, so i'm pretty sure these Skins are winded. Giants can be tough at home!

-Detriot @ Minnesota - Jedi Pick: Minnesota - 6.5
Detroit: 16-5 ATS off 3+ ATS losses
Minnesota: 14-5 Under in home games
JEDI THOUGHTS: Minnesota needs a bounce back after that back to back loses under 6 points. This is the team to do it with, now they're back at home, after a tough loss at home against the Bears at Minnesota. Big bounce back for the Vikes.

St. Louis @ Green Bay - Jedi Pick: St. Louis - 3.5
St. Louis: 22-10 Over after winning 3 of their last 4 games
Green Bay: 4-13 ATS in home games
JEDI THOUGHTS: Don't like much about this game, but i'm taking St. Louis, only Green Bay had their chance last week against Eagles, but for some reason let the game slip in the second half by throwing those interceptions, and easily gave away the game. It's only a small favorite.

Miami @ New England - Jedi Pick: Miami + 9.5
Miami: 2-11 ATS vs. division opponents
New England: 10-2 ATS after allowing 14 points or less
JEDI THOUGHTS: No doubt in my mind that Miami is HORRIBLE, and I don't think they can keep up with New England at home. But don't get me wrong, they will fight till the end on this one, they need to, and Culpepper will. Points should be good here.

Buffalo @ Chicago - Jedi Pick: Chicago - 10.5
Buffalo: 8-1 Under away first half of the season
Chicago: 8-1 Under at home off a home game
JEDI THOUGHTS: What Buffalo defeats Minnesota? Chicago comes off a great win against Seattle. Chicago can be VERY VERY VERY tough at home. This spread might be alittle to tough, but you'll never see a spread lower than 6 points at home with the bears.

Cleveland @ Carolina - Jedi Pick: Carolina - 8.5
Cleveland: 6-17 ATS off a win by 6 points or less
Carolina: 26-11 Under off a division win
JEDI THOUGHTS: Carolina is only at .500, they need to start winning fast, this is the best game to start a three game winning streak, and get back on the winning path, after they struggled the first two weeks, watch them pound the browns this week.

*NY Jets @ Jacksonville - Jacksonville - 7.5
NY Jets: 6-0 Under away off a loss by 6 points or less
Jacksonville: 8-2 ATS off BB road losses
JEDI THOUGHTS: Tough loss last week, he're the Jaguar prowl back!

Kansas City @ Arizona - Jedi Pick: Arizona + 3.5
Kansas City: 9-1 ATS as a favorite
Arizona: 2-10 ATS as an underdog
JEDI THOUGTHS: Does anyone remember the opening day in Arizona agains those Niners? Yeah they won, and yeah it was only the Niners (considering the niner got humiliated by the Chiefs 41-0) Did you know that the Chiefs came off a bye week prior to that Niner game? that means they had two weeks to prepare for the skunky 49ers? But this week, those chiefs don't have a home field advantage this week. Arizona will be all over them.

Oakland @ San Francisco - Jedi Picks: San Francisco - 3.5
Oakland: 2-11 ATS as an underdog
San Francisco: 8-1 ATS off a road game
JEDI THOUGHTS: Niners, Niners, Niners, they won't let these Raiders win. Niners got MAD HANDLED when they played the Chiefs. Take a look at the trend, not bad, I might as well take it.

Dallas @ Philadelphia - Jedi Pick: Dallas + 2.5
Dallas: 2-10 ATS off a win by 28+ points
Philadelphia: 7-1 Under after scoring 30+ points
JEDI THOUGHTS: I heard on a forum that this game is a LOCK OF A LIFETIME, and this person was picking Philly. But I really have to disagree with him, and take Dallas. Philly didn't play as I expected them to play on the last Monday night game, and I still don't expect them to all show up this game. They have to many key injuries, which will hurt them playing against a POWERFULL team. Take the points and CASH IT!

Pittsburgh @ San Diego - Jedi Pick: Pittsburgh + 3.5
Pittsburgh: 9-1 Under away off an Over
San Diego: 15-6 ATS off an Under
JEDI THOUGHTS: Pittsburgh just came off a tough lost in week 3 against Cincinatti, and they did play good that game, but just couldn't pull it off. They were at home, and it was pretty tough to lose at home. Now they get a bye week, but on the road against San Diego. Look for the Steelers to be fresh. Watch Pamoalu to play some great defense this week, he's been really quite week two and three.

Monday Night NFL Oct. 2

Green Bay's Brett Favre did what he could to hype this week's Monday night contest last week when he completed 25 of 36 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-24 win over Detroit. He also ended a run of 12 straight games throwing an interception as the Packers improved to 1-2. But can he do it two weeks in a row and get the Pack to the .500 mark versus the 2-1 Philadelphia Eagles? Not likely says the pointspread, with the Eagles -10.5 at the opener and -11.5 now. The teams have met each of the past three regulars seasons and once in the playoffs with the Eagles going 4-0 straight-up and 3-1 ATS. Two meetings in Philly the past two seasons resulted in 47-14 and 19-14 Eagles wins and covers with them favored by 6.5 then four points

Green Bay: 7-2 ATS after gaining 300+ passing yards
Philadelphia: 6-1 Under after scoring 30+ points

JEDIMINDTRICKS PICK OF THE DAY: EAGLES -11.5 TAKING EAGLES ALL THE WAY BABY! He is also 5-0 as a starter versus the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta has beaten New Orleans three of the last four but the Saints are 3-1 ATS. Vick ran for two touchdowns and passed for 231 yards and a score in the Falcons' 36-17 victory over the Saints on a Monday night at the Georgia Dome last December 12. He threw for just 112 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 51 yards as the Falcons edged the Saints, 34-31, last October 16 at the Alamodome Atlanta: 11-3 ATS at New Orleans New Orleans: 16-34 ATS at home vs. division opponents

JEDIMINDTRICKS PICK OF THE DAY: Atlanta -3.5 To bad Reggie Bush doesn't play on defense, because New Orleans needs someone quick enough to catch Michael Vick. If not, Vick can just hand it off, and they'll also have a hard time finding Dunn. Oh, so you think New Orleans can stop their running game? Did you forget, that Vick is a quarter back, not a running back? When Vick's on the move, he can still throw it to Alge Crumpler. REMEMBER Falcon's have already played two good defensive teams.

JEDIMINDTRICKS RECORD
ALL NFL GAMES: 14-14
WEEKLY PICK 6: 7-5
PICK OF THE DAY/WEEK: 3-1

NFL WEEK 3 Analysis

NY Jets @ Buffalo - Jedi Pick: Buffalo -5.5
NY Jets: 18-6 ATS off a home division loss
Buffalo: 6-17 ATS off a division win by 10+ points
JEDI THOUGHTS: I personally wouldn't touch this game, my thoughts about both teams have been off on both weeks, but i'd like to take Buffalo because right now they're playing good, and should look more comfortable at home.

*Cincinnatti @ Pittsburgh - Jedi Pick: OVER 41.5
Cincinnati: 9-1 ATS away off a straight up win
Pittsburgh: 8-0 Over as a home favorite
JEDI THOUGHTS: This is a tought one too, but I love how Cincinnatti is playing, and they are my pick for the Super Bowl, so I'm taking Cincinnatti, and plus it's only -2.5 again. But be careful Pittsburgh is bound to bounce back soon. Just play the OVER, it's more safe.

*Jacksonville @ Indianapolis - Jedi Pick: Indianapolis -6.5
Jacksonville: 12-4 Under in dome stadiums
Indianapolis: 14-5 ATS off BB ATS wins as favorites
JEDI THOUGHTS: Jacksonville didn't look that good, they were struggling to score against Pittsburgh, and Pitt wasn't even playing a good defensive game. Even if the Jags can play good defense this week, look for Peyton Manning to kill e'm in the air.

*Tennessee @ Miami - Jedi Pick: Tennessee +10.5
Tennessee: 12-2 Over off BB losses
Miami: 1-7 ATS as a home favorite
JEDI THOUGHTS: What is going on with Miami? first I thought that they were an OK team because they played an OK game against Pittsburgh, then I figured they can't even beat Buffalo, after I called them a FLUKE? I think Miami is the fluke here. Watch Miami as they continue to struggle EVEN AT HOME.

Washington @ Houston - Jedi Pick: Washington -3.5
Washington: 6-0 Under off BB ATS losses
Houston: 1-6 ATS in September
JEDI THOUGHTS: I still can't figure out what's going on with Washington either, but i'm pretty sure they'll find their first win here. But spread is a little skecthy. See Houston Shoulda took Reggie Bush.

*Chicago @ Minnesota - Jedi Pick: Chicago - 3.5
Chicago: 8-1 Under away off a home game
Minnesota: 18-6 ATS as a home underdog
JEDI THOUGHTS: Hah, Minnesota 2-0, Well better be ready for this tought, and I mean TOUGH defensive team, Minnesota won't stand a chance with these Bears. Minnesota wins both games by game winning field goal? Hah, they shouldn't of won against Carolina if it wasn't for that lateral mistake. I'd like to see Minnesota score more than 14points this game. Good Luck Minnesota in trying to come up with a win against these Bears.

Carolina @ Tampa Bay - Jedi Pick: Carolina - 3.5
Carolina: 6-0 ATS away vs. division opponents
Tampa Bay: 13-4 Under off a road game
JEDI THOUGHTS: Both teams still looking for their first win. Still both teams didn't impress me much, Tampa does have a little advantage at home, but i'm going to stick with my Panthers, even though they dissapointed me last week.

Green Bay @ Detroit - Jedi Pick: Green Bay +6.5
Green Bay: 0-6 ATS vs. division opponents
Detroit: 6-1 ATS off a loss by 14+ points
JEDI THOUGHTS: Not much to talk about here either, both teams still can't seem to find what will go right for their team. But i'm taking Favre on this won, he has to go home a winner some how, and i'm thinking this is the best chance for a first win.

*Baltimore @ Cleveland - Jedi Pick: Cleveland +6.5
Baltimore: 10-2 Under away vs. conference opponents
Cleveland: 13-5 Under in home games
JEDI THOUGHTS: Baltimore not so impressive especially when playing those Raiders, well don't get me wrong their defense is not that bad. But remember Cleveland is still also hungry for their first win and they did have a tought game against Cincinnatti last week. Look for Cleveland to beat them in the air. Ray Lewis and Baltimore will stop Cleveland's ground game. But also look for this game to be under, if Cleveland can't move the ball through the air.

St. Louis @ Arizona - Jedi Pick: Arizona -4.5
St. Louis: 2-8 ATS as a road underdog of 7 or less points
Arizona: 7-1 Over off BB ATS losses
JEDI THOUGHTS: Arizona is a good team, but last week they just couldn't do it against Seattle. But be cautious that new stadium looks rockin, and them Cards hopin to rockit more.

NY Giants @ Seattle - NY Giants +3.5
NY Giants: 18-7 ATS after gaining 400+ total yards
Seattle: 2-11 ATS off a division game
JEDI THOUGHTS: This will be a tought one, but I like NY Giants to carry on their great comeback win against Philadelphia last week. Althought Seattle is tought at home. I think Seattle might struggle a little bit and the second half. And hopefully NY Giants can pull through again.I'll take them again this week.Plus 3.5 looks very tempting.

*Philadelphia @ San Francisco - Jedi Pick: San Francisco +6.5
Philadelphia: 11-3 Under off an Over
San Francisco: 22-10 ATS after allowing 400+ total yards
JEDI THOUGHTS: WOW! San Francisco impressed me last week, great game. This is the only game I like as an upset. Alex Smith is finally found some kind of rhythm, it took him a little more than a year to find it, so I doubt he'll just blow it in this game, plus they're at home. While Philadelphia is still trying to recooperate after that BIG loss last week. (IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS.)

Denver @ New England - Jedi Pick: New England - 6.5
Denver: 8-0 Under off a division win
New England: 11-2 ATS after allowing 75 or less rushing yards
JEDI THOUGHTS: I still like them Patriots. Denver didn't show much against Kansas City, and I don't expect them to show much this week either. Patriots still look good, well better than Denver. The spread is little to hight though, but i'll still take e'm.

JEDIMINDTRICKS RECORD
ALL NFL GAMES: 7-8
WEEKLY PICK 6: 3-3
PICK OF THE DAY/WEEK: 2-1

NFL WEEK 2 Analysis

Oakland @ Baltimore - Jedi Pick: Oakland +11.5
Oakland: 2-11 ATS vs. conference opponents
Baltimore: 10-2 Under at home vs. conference opponents
JEDI THOUGHTS: Oakland was crushed (Crushed, Crushed, and Crushed) last week. SHUT OUT! need I say more?(I'm a Oakland fan myself) I still think they'll continue to struggle this week till some how QB Aaron Brooks can find his rhythm which. I don't see him finding this week. Then again Baltimore SHUTS OUT! Tampa Bay COINCIDENCE? nope.

Houston @ Indianapolis - Jedi Pick: Indianapolis - 13.5
Houston: 1-5 ATS in September
Indianapolis: 10-2 Under at home off an Under
JEDI THOUGHTS: Indianapolis still a great team, and will dominate this Houston defense through the air with no Giants in the secondary, just a bunch of confused Texans. Indy will be unstoppable this week.

Cleveland @ Cincinnatti - Jedi Pick: Cleveland +10.5
Cleveland: 13-4 Under in road games
Cincinnati: 18-33 ATS in September
JEDI THOUGHTS: Cincinnati came off a great win last week spread is a little etchy at 10.5 That half might be the decision of the game. Over is what i'm looking for in this game, both teams found their air attack very deadly, but Cincinatti will get away with some of the running game to mix it up. Take Cleveland because the spread might be just be alittle to much, but over might be the pick for me.

Buffalo @ Miami - Jedi Pick: Miami - 7.5
Buffalo: 13-4 Over off an ATS win
Miami: 2-10 ATS vs. division opponents
JEDI THOUGHTS: I think that it was a fluke that Buffalo ALMOST came across a win in New England. Well either way they won't be able to play two good games on the road. Miami will get it together this game, feeling more comfortable at home. Take Miami at home. Buffalo is a fluke.

Detriot @ Chicago - Jedi Pick: Chicago - 8.5
Detroit: 16-9 Under vs. conference opponents
Chicago: 6-0 ATS at home off an Under
JEDI THOUGHTS: Nothing more to say but Bears are bad ass.

*Carolina @ Minnesota - Jedi Pick: Carolina - 2.5
Carolina: 7-0 ATS away off a loss as a favorite
Minnesota: 8-1 Under at home off an ATS win
JEDI THOUGHTS: Carolina - 2.5? Are you kidding me? Hah. Carolina will win, they have to find their game fast, before it's too late.

*Giants @ Philadelphia - Jedi Pick: Giants +3.5
NY Giants: 17-7 ATS after gaining 400+ total yards
Philadelphia: 16-6 Under as a favorite
JEDI THOUGHTS: Giants played a good game last week, just that Eli was a little tense, plus big brother is just too much for him. Also remember Philidelphia was only playing Houston Texans! Watch Giants come back with a major win.

*TampaBay @ Atlanta - Jedi Pick: TampaBay +5.5
Tampa Bay: 24-4 Under first two weeks of the season
Atlanta: 0-7 ATS off a win by 14+ points
JEDI THOUGHTS: Gruden won't let his team fall 0-2. TampaBay will come back with a fight.

*New Orleans @ GreenBay - Jedi Pick: New Orleans -1.5
New Orleans: 2-9 ATS vs. conference opponents
Green Bay: 30-14 Over after scoring 14 points or less
JEDI THOUGHTS: Seems like Saints found a little something something, and still don't think GreenBay has anything even at home.

St.Louis @ San Francisco - Jedi Pick: St. Louis -3.5
St. Louis: 11-29 ATS away off an Under
San Francisco: 18-8 ATS vs. St. Louis
JEDI THOUGHTS: St.Louis a very tough team, and enough to contain Alex Smith and the Niners.

Arizona @ Seattle - Jedi Pick: Seattle - 7.5
Arizona: 9-0 Over as a road underdog of 7 points or less
Seattle: 9-25 ATS as a home favorite of 3.5 to 7 points
JEDI THOUGHTS: Seattle had a tough time last week against Detriot, but now they're at home and ready to bounce back.

*New England @ NY Jets - Jedi Pick: New England - 6.5
New England: 6-1 Over off a win by 6 points or less
NY Jets: 6-17 ATS at home in September
JEDI THOUGHTS: Jets win two in a row? Yea, maybe against Texans. Jets will fall apart after they see this New England team.

Tennessee @ San Diego - Jedi Pick: San Diego - 11.5
Tennessee: 5-14 ATS off an Over
San Diego: 14-3 ATS off a win by 21+ points
JEDI THOUGHTS: San Diego's defense looked great, with a bad quarter back taking 7 drop steps. Collins aint that much better of a quarter back than Brooks. They will continue to carry their momentum against Tennessee's offense.

Kansas City @ Denver - Jedi Pick: Denver - 10.5
Kansas City: 19-8 Under first two weeks of the season
Denver: 19-7 ATS first two weeks of the season
JEDI THOUGHTS: These games are almost always to close especially when both teams are playing for their first win, but it is tough to play at Denver with no quarter back. Denver has the edge.

*Washington @ Dallas - Jedi Pick : Washington +5.5
Washington: 14-2 Under off an ATS loss
Dallas: 10-4 ATS at home vs. Washington
JEDI THOUGHTS: Both coming off a loss, and looking for their first win, but I think it comes down to who wants it more, WASHINGTON! will win while Parcells figures out what he's going to do with his team.

RECORD
ALL NFL GAMES: 7-8
WEEKLY PICK 6: 3-3
PICK OF THE DAY/WEEK: 1-1
